The winter wind was chilly today, but the news that it’s been 77 days since any detected community transmission of COVID-19 in New Zealand is warming. It’s a big disconnect from what my friends and family in the States and Victoria in Australia are facing, and while they all are in my thoughts and well-wishes, I feel super-lucky and thankful to live in a wonderful country where we all banded together to fight a pandemic.
